It was a beautiful thing to watch. The St. Louis Blues straight up demolished the Dallas Stars tonight. It really is their year. First, they eliminate the Blackhawks. Now, they go on the road and destroy the Stars in game 7 in front of their fans. Heartless. Cold. Huge nuts.
I did feel bad for the Stars fans that didn't bail early in the game and stayed in the arena to salute their team. They were subjected to an awful goaltending performance by both Lehtonen and Niemi. The fans that left early are pathetic. The Stars were dealt a tough hand with Seguin being eliminated and they pushed this series to seven games, it was a solid season. However, it is Ken Hitchcock and the Blues' time now. The Blues are no longer chokers. My bold prediction is still alive. It is a beautiful day.
