This year's Wrestlemania suffered due to injuries to so many Superstars. Cesaro recently returned, but he was out with an injury for an extended period of time. Tyson Kidd has been out for ages with a severe neck injury and who knows when/if he will return. Seth Rollins had to vacate the WWE Championship in the middle of his title run due to a severe leg injury. Oh and let us not forget John Cena being out. Luke Harper just recently broke his leg at a house show. Now, Bray Wyatt has injured his leg during the WWE European tour.
Holy smokes that is a lot of injuries and it is clearly effecting the product WWE is putting out there. It is a good thing the WWE brought up so many talents from NXT because they really are going to need them. I cannot remember a time in professional wrestling where so many big-name superstars were out at once. Hopefully, this is the end of the injury bug and Bray Wyatt will not miss extended time. It couldn't have possibly come at a worse time for Bray, as this week's Raw closed with him in the main-event teaming with Roman Reigns. This was slated to be a big year for the Wyatt family, it obviously will not if both he and Harper are out for a long time.
The WWE Universe yearned for the PG Era to go away and for the Attitude Era to come back. Now, I think we would all settle for the Injury Era to end. It is getting pretty ridiculous.
