The main event of tonight's Raw was a clusterfuck. Vince McMahon was the special guest referee in the title match between Roman Reigns and Sheamus. Vince came out with his patented ridiculous strut and jacked up biceps and did what everyone expected. Instead of counting to three whenever Reigns went for the pin-fall he would pretend he had something in his eye or just blatantly not count at all. Referee Scott Armstrong made his triumphant return and also tried to screw over Roman Reigns. This particular moment in the match was a complete botch because McMahon was supposed to be either pretending to be unconscious or completely out of the ring. Instead, he laid staring at Sheamus covering Roman Reigns as Sheamus called for another official.
Eventually, Reigns got the win by knocking out everyone in the ring and calling for another ref. The third ref in the match made the count declaring Reigns victorious. Roman Reigns also deliberately threw Vince McMahon into Stephanie McMahon causing her to fall over. Then the big announcement came, Reigns' title will be on the line in the actual Royal Rumble match itself. Thus, he has to defend his title against 29 other men in the rumble. I guess this will be interesting, even though now the Royal Rumble card seems kind of lame with no official title match. Usually at the Royal Rumble you get both a title match and the rumble. Essentially, this McMahon vs Reigns feud is a replica of the Austin/ McMahon feud only watered down due to the PG era. Still, it is more entertaining than anything the WWE has put on TV in a long time.
