Tonight's episode of Raw was a decent follow up to an overall solid Royal Rumble. Triple H basically said he will be champion as long as he wants and vowed to teach Roman Reigns and all the other superstars in the back a thing or two about respect. That it is rich coming from Triple H. Aj Styles made his Monday Night Raw debut in a great match versus Chris Jericho. Aj Styles picked up the win via pin fall and shook Jericho's hand after the match. However, this is Y2J we are talking about here so of course he didn't let go of AJ's hand and stared him down in the middle of the ring. It would be dumb for this not to lead to a match at either Fastlane or even better, Wrestlemania.
The Rock came back for an entertaining segment. He bumped into Lana backstage and essentially said he had wild sex with her and Rusev was clearly pissed off about that. He cut one of his great promos in the ring, only to be interrupted by the New Day. Eventually the Usos came out and attacked the New Day. This led to the Rock hitting a rock bottom or two and the people's elbow. The Rock ended his segment telling the WWE universe that he will see them at Wrestlemania. Still have no clue what the Rock will be doing at Wrestlemania, but there is no doubt that it will at the very least be entertaining.
The highlight of Raw was when the main event for Fastlane was announced. The winner of that main event will face Triple H for the World Heavy Weight title at Wrestlemania. WWE Fastlane's main event will be Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar. On paper that sounds like an awesome match, as it will force the two former members of the shield to put their bromance aside and beat the living hell out of each other. It also means that Lesnar will get another chance to main event Wrestlemania if he wins that match and recapture the WWE title. If I had to bet on it, Roman Reigns will walk away victorious from that match and the Wyatt's will once again interfere and cost Lesnar a chance at the title. Thus, Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt might be a match at Wrestlemania.
