Here we go again, Tom Brady's four game suspension has been reinstated. Another few months of sports talk radio hosts screaming at each other on whether they think Brady did it or not. I think the general consensus is that Brady did it, but the suspension is far too much. A hefty fine or a one game suspension would have been sense, but four games is bonkers.
The reversal of Judge Berman's decision today was pretty much the court saying the NFL can do whatever they want. The fact is that the NFLPA got smacked around at the bargaining table and afforded the commissioner all the power. He can do whatever the hell he wants. I love the fact that people solely blame Roger Goodell when he is just a talking-head for the Jerry Jones' of the world.
The Patriots can survive four games without Tom Brady. I really hope that this is the end of this nonsense and Brady just walks away. The decision today was about procedure, not about whether Brady did it or not. Everyone's opinion on whether Brady did it or not is pretty much set in stone at this point. Nobody is changing their mind at this point. I sincerely hope that this ends deflategate and that Goodell's power is reduced next time the NFL and NFLPA collectively bargain (have a dick measuring contest).
