Even though pretty much everyone uses either Spotify or Apple Music, or even Rhapsody for the matter, Beyonce's new album might just be available on Tidal. Beyonce's husband, Jay Z, invested 56 million dollars into the streaming service. Since his investment, Tidal has remained just as irrelevant as it was before Jay Z tossed a bunch of money at it. Thus, we get this bullshit. Jay Z made an awful investment in a streaming service that nobody uses, so now albums are just going to be held hostage on Tidal.
Oh what's that? You have Spotify? Well screw you. You pay $10 a month for an Apple Music subscription? Up yours! Come on everybody, subscribe to Tidal. It is the only place you can here my wife's music now because I'm a dingus and made a shitty investment. Awesome. Love this trend. Let us all just divide movies and music into 60 streaming services so everyone has to spend $600 a month to enjoy the content. Sounds fan-fucking-tastic.
